I’m having a hard time facing the fact that the summer is almost over for my kids. One has schedule pick-up today. The other, in a couple of weeks. I could stick my head in the sand and pretend we had so much summer time left, but schedule pick-ups and all the dreaded forms makes ignoring all things school a lot harder. (Maybe even impossible.)
While I am trying to avoid all things Back to School, I do love looking forward to Fall and trips to Apple Hill and Halloween.
Now, yes, I did just mention Halloween in July but you guys, tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party go on sale today. Like, today today.
My family and I have been talking a lot about Disneyland lately. More than we usually do. I’m sure a lot of it has to do with the fact that we keep thinking about last year’s trip around Halloween and Mickey’s Halloween party. We had such an fabulous time, we still talk about it like it was yesterday. We laugh about how, before that trip, we didn’t think any holiday could compete with Christmas at Disneyland.
We were so wrong.
Halloween at Disneyland is…well, it’s just amazing, you guys. Really and truly, it’s amazing. Although, please don’t ask me to choose between Halloween and Christmas as my favorite. That is not something I can do.
Tickets for Mickey’s Halloween Party are separate from regular park tickets or hopper passes but you do get to enter the park up to 3 hours prior to the party start time. This allows you to enjoy some Disneyland fun prior to the event’s festivities. (More ticket information here.)
Mickey’s Halloween Party has special trick or treat and activity stations throughout the park, super fun character themed dance parties, amazing Halloween fireworks, and photo ops with some of your favorite Disney characters and villains. (More on the festivities here.)
You can even wear your Halloween costumes.
Or Halloween hats. Hats are good, too.
I’m at this place in my parenting life where I want time to stand still. At the very least, I wish it could just slow down A LOT. I know it sounds crazy, but our Disneyland trips make me feel like it’s possible. Like, at least while we’re there, time isn’t racing by. Our times at Disneyland, especially during the different holidays, are some of my favorite memories as a parent. I can’t help but be excited and want you and your families to go, too. I can’t wait to plan our next trip.
