Sacramento Area Spring Break Camp Ideas

Spring Break is coming up for most schools in the area. Not all schools and districts follow this schedule, but we thought we’d give you a glimpse of some activities around the area. If you’re looking for something for your kids to do, these might be just what you had in mind!

Spring Break Camps

  • ReCreate has a couple of darling camp ideas for your kids. They have the Fairy Garden Camp in the mornings and the Under Construction Camp in the afternoons. Camp costs start at $79 and are available Monday April 14th through Thursday April 17th.


  • Crocker Art Museum has a couple different camp options, depending on the age of your kids. Crocker camps often fill up fast, so if you’re still looking for camp options, call soon. These are full-day camps for your kids (snack are included but you would need to pack a lunch) and there are also before and after camp care options. Price for museum members start at $250, for non-members the price starts at $295. The camps run Monday – Friday, April 14 – 18, 9 AM – 4 PM.


  • The City of Sacramento Parks and Rec has a Skate Camp for all skill level, ages 5-18. (That’s a huge jump in ages, but it sounds like they must have different groups.) The camp will be held April 14 – 18, between 10am to 1pm. Camp fee is $120 and includes skate instruction, snack, and t-shirt.


  • The Bounce Spot offers a full day camp option that focuses on “Fun & Fitness, with a touch of education” for your kids. The website shoes a pretty full agenda for the week (April 14 – 18) with drop-offs as early as 7am. The camp closes at 6pm and kids are required to bring snacks and lunch each day. Camp costs begins at $125/child.


  • The Mad Science Camps have many options for Sacramento Area families. They offer interactive and hands-on science activities for your children. Camp pricing begins at $106, but make sure to visit their website to see all options and prices.


  • If you have a budding actor or actress in your family, The Sacramento Theater Company has a few camp options for you. There are different age groups for each camp option. Camps run April 14th-18th (9am to 5pm) with costs starting at $300.00. Before and after camp care is available.
