I know I’m super annoying about all this graduating and off to college mumbo jumbo. I’ve accepted this. I’ve accepted the fact that I’m super annoying about my kid graduating and leaving for college this fall. I’d be apologetic, but I’m too busy being annoying.
Eh. You win some, you lose some.
No matter how you look at it, things change for our family in a big way this fall. There are certain aspects of this that really (REALLY) bother me. Like, not being able to see my kid every day. I HAPPEN TO REALLY LIKE THIS HUMAN. It’s going to suck not seeing her all the time!
In my next life, could someone PLEASE remind me to raise unlikable children so this isn’t so hard?!? Kthx.
In light of all things coming up the next few months, we made plans to escape to Disneyland for a few days. Even after all these years and with older kids, it’s still one of our very favorite places to go. We just…man, we just have FUN while we’re there. And this particular trip was no different. Even the car ride there was hilarious. HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN? I don’t know but it did. It was one of the best trips at perfect time.
Being the goofs that we are, (see what I did there?) Sarah and I decided to keep in touch with each other because that’s just what we do. Although, this time around, we thought we’d do something a little different and back and forth video texting was born. I mean, not that we INVENTED it…but whatever. You know what I mean. This is how shit went down. And, not gonna lie, it all still makes me laugh. A lot. Because we’re ginormous dorks.
But you knew that.
And if you didn’t know that, our video texting will prove that far better than anything else in this world. Besides the last video we did, of course. There’s always that.
